  • Which is the nearest beach to the resort?

    Enjoy the perks of beachfront living at Playa Largo as you stay close to some of the top beaches in the area (in addition to our private beach). The Sombrero Beach in Marathon is an hour’s drive south from our resort is a popular spot for family picnics. The Bahia Honda State Park is yet another park in Marathon with an open public beach.
  • Can I book Dolphin Encounters through the hotel?

    All Dolphin Encounters including Dolphins Plus MMR (3 miles), Dolphins Plus Bayside (7 miles), and Theater of the Sea (13 miles) require on-line reservations and prepayment via the official booking sites.
  • What is there to do in Key Largo?

    At Playa Largo, you're steps from the top water fun activities. Make a splash with an array of watersports and adventure onsite and around our resort, including world-class scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, swimming with the dolphins, glass-bottomed boat rides, and everglades tours. Go snorkeling at the coral reef, take a guided kayak tour through the island, dive into the deeper waters to explore the marine life, or parasail peacefully over the stunning Florida Bay.   • How do I go about booking a fishing trip?

    Call or visit our concierge to book a fishing trip on your Key Largo vacation. There are multiple charters available to cater to different fishing styles and preferences.
     
    • The tranquil Florida Bay, known as the "Backcountry", is home to Bonefish, Redfish, Sea Trout, and the mighty Silver King Tarpo. Average back-country fishing charters begin at an average of $450 for two anglers for a half day (4-hour) experience.
    • If you are a newbie, Patch Reef fishing is a great option for kids and adults alike. Average inshore fishing charters average between $750-$900 for a half-day (4-hour) experience with a max of 6 anglers per boat.
    • Key Largo is famous for its incredible deep-sea fishing for species such as Dolphin, sailfish, tuna, kingfish, marlin, swordfish, and more. The average three-quarter(5.5hour) deep sea charter averages between $950 to $1,200 with a max of 6 people per boat.
    • Half-Day open fishing trips are also available within miles of the resort.

  • How far is Key Largo from Miami?

    Key Largo is just 60 miles from downtown Miami. Land at Miami International Airport and you can be in Key Largo in about an hour. You can drive along the scenic Overseas Highway, rent a car or climb aboard a shuttle bus to get to Key Largo.
  • Is your resort ADA accessible?
